Who I am.

I was born in Taiwan, raised in South Africa and now living in the US, giving me a culturally diverse perspective that I try to bring into my work.

My journey began as a pastry chef, where I honed my craft at a Michelin starred restaurant and a world-renowned bakery in Washington DC and NYC. I later transitioned to teaching English to adults in Taiwan before discovering my passion for UX/UI design.

Driven by values of collaboration and growth, I decided to pivot my career after realizing that a supportive environment is key to fostering creativity and innovation. Surrounded by a supportive team that fosters growth rather than competition, I aspire to continue crafting engaging user experiences, fueled by creativity and driven by the ever-evolving landscape of UX/UI design. Transitioning to design revealed to me the profound impact it has on everyday life and this resonated deeply with my desire to help others in a meaningful way.

My experience as a chef taught me precision and attention to detail, while teaching developed my empathy and communication skills—both of which shape my approach as a designer. Ultimately, my goal is to create solutions that genuinely make people’s lives better.
